Options for connecting a wall display to the SV8100 ACD MIS System:

Direct Connect

The ACD MIS Server PC must have an available serial port for this connection. An RS-232/485 adapter (P/N Adapter-DIR) is connected to the serial port using a provided RS-232 cable. The wall display is then connected to the adapter using two pair of standard house wiring. The line distance from the adapter to the wall display must be less than 1500 feet.

IP Connect

Using an IP Adapter (P/N Adapter-LAN) a wall display can be connected to the company network. The IP Adapter is powered by the wall display and includes a configuration program that allows a fixed IP address to be assigned to the adapter.

Three different sizes of wall displays are compatible with the ACD MIS system:

  • 1 Line LED display – The single line display is supported to provide compatibility with earlier releases of the Elite ACD. This display has a narrow application within the call center due to the limited size of messages that can be shown. An example of a message that could be shown is “Q1 A:10 C:2 W:1:25”, which indicates that Queue 1 has 10 agents, 2 calls in queue, and the longest time in queue is 1 minute, 25 seconds.
  • 2 Line LED display – The 2 line display is a cost effective way to distribute real time call center statistics and text messaging. A typical application of the 2 line display is to have header information on the top line of the display with the statistics on the second line, as shown below:

WallDisplay1

Red Phoenix Part numbers: WD-2-36

Physical characteristics:

  1. Two lines, 36” long.
  2. Can display a queue name and 3 data values.
  3. Case size: 40.2” W x 7.7” H x 4.5” D, 20 lbs
  4. Text messages can also appear on the sign at scheduled times to alert agents of changing conditions in the call center or to provide company announcements.
  • 3 Line LED display –The 3 line display provides the ability to distribute real time call center statistics and text messaging simultaneously. Text messages can occupy the entire sign and alternate with the data messages defined, or just use the bottom line of the display. When a text message is being displayed on the bottom line, the top line shows data value headers and the middle line shows call center statistics for the defined queues.

WallDisplay2

Red Phoenix Part numbers: WD-3-36

  1. Three lines, 36” long.
  2. Can display a queue name and 3 data values
  3. Case size: 40.2” W x 10” H x 4.5” D, 20 lbs
